Without any previous accounting knowledge, my team and I needed to create a viable piece of software that would make trust accountants love what they do even more. A handful of accountants (and a lot of research) helped us understand their needs and we began to construct an app from scratch.

Branding Elements that Don’t Distract but Contribute.

The font and the colors of the brand needed to be docile and underwhelming to some extent, but without being bland. Our team found the middle ground and introduced a cool set of hues and a type kit that helped our customers give us their ‘trust.’ .

Creating a Fresh and Clean User Interface.

With branding in place, we set out to design a user interface that would function as it should while looking clean along the way. From portfolio displays to an integrated inbox, all elements needed to be easy to find and simple to use. After all, trust accountant jobs are hard enough already!

Dashboard. A Dashboard Full of Useful Data. 

The home screen of the app was designed to show a lot of information without being overwhelming, showing the user exactly what they’d want to see when logging in.

Transactions. A Single Screen for Every Transaction.

Few things are more important to this type of user than transactions, so keeping them handy was important. I’d like to think we did just that.

Transactions. Simple Bookkeeping in the Right Place.

Adding transactions is as simple as the click of a button, especially with a modal that pops up right on the screen instead of moving to another screen all together.

Members. Keep Your Team Members Close.

The “Members” section of the final application allows accountants to keep track of all people in their account and makes it easy to invite new members and control their abilities.

Bank Accounts. Add Accounts with Ease and Style.
